SalaryOur client in Detroit, MI is seeking Property Managerat a local church who plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the church facility on Sundays. This part-time position involves responsibilities related to opening and closing the church, supporting with lunch setup, cleaning, and maintaining restroom facilities. The ideal candidate should be welcoming, friendly, and possess experience in office administration or management.

Job Duties:
Opening and Closing:
- Arrive promptly at 7 am to open the church facility.
- Ensure all necessary areas are accessible and ready for use.
- Secure the facility at the end of the day.
Event Support:
- Assist in setting up and organizing events, especially during lunch hours.
- Collaborate with event organizers to ensure smooth logistics.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Oversee the cleanliness and tidiness of the entire building during operating hours.
- Ensure restrooms are well-stocked and maintained throughout the day.
Welcoming and Hospitality:
- Greet and assist visitors, congregants, and event attendees in a friendly manner.
- Foster a welcoming environment within the church facility.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with church staff, volunteers, and event organizers.
- Report any facility-related issues or concerns to the appropriate parties.
What do you bring?
- Previous experience in office administration or management is desirable.
- Friendly and welcoming demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Availability to work on Sundays from 7 am to 3 pm
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds.
- Stamina to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
