SEIU Local 1 Maintenance Class C/Helper C Janitor

C-Class / Day Shift Janitor

The Class C Janitor will monitor, clean, and maintain the building corridors.

The Janitor will need to:

• Familiar with household and industrial cleaning agents and chemicals and tools
• Able to assist with emergency situations as required.
• Maintain the property to the highest possible standard of cleanliness.

REPORTS TO: Chief Engineer / Assistant Engineer / Property Manager

EXPERIENCE NEEDED: Janitorial experience.

PERFORMANCE SKILLS:

1. Ability to utilize commercial grade vacuum and shampoo machine.

4. Ability to climb ladders.

5. Able to bend / kneel and lift heavy items.

6. Ability to maintain cleaning schedules and procedures.

7. Ability to work in a group setting.

8. Ability to follow directions.

9. Ability to work independently.

Schedule:

• Tuesday - Friday 7:45am - 4:15pm & Saturday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.57 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
