We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the operations of our properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal and real estate administrative tasks, as well as strong office and file management skills. The Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our properties and maintaining a high level of tenant satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Advertise and show available units to prospective tenants
- Screen and select qualified tenants in accordance with Fair Housing regulations
- Prepare and execute lease agreements and renewals
- Collect rent payments and ensure timely payment by tenants
- Coordinate maintenance requests and repairs, ensuring prompt resolution
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify any issues or necessary repairs
- Maintain accurate records of all property-related transactions and activities
- Handle tenant inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Enforce property rules and regulations to maintain a safe and harmonious living environment
- Stay updated on local rental market trends and adjust rental rates accordingly
Requirements:
- Proven experience in property management or related field
- Strong knowledge of legal administrative tasks in property management
- Familiarity with real estate administrative processes
- Proficient in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Excellent file management skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of facilities management practices
- Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi is preferred
- Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills
