Healthpeak Properties is seeking an experienced real estate professional to join the Company's Life Science business. Critical to success will be innovative thinking, go-getter mentality, attention to detail, and operational excellence to manage assets and develop key relationships. The successful candidate, reporting the Vice President of Life Science, will work with the entire Life Science team to drive successful financial results through leasing support, market data, broker relationships, capital projects, forecasting/budgeting, and various portfolio management duties.
The position will handle a broad range of functions in the deal making process and will have direct revenue impact for the company's Life Science portfolio within the Bay Area market. In addition to a focus on leasing pipeline, additional projects include assistance and support to new developments, redevelopments, and existing operating properties. This candidate requires knowledge of real estate documents. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with leasing process including leading space tours, drafting and reviewing relevant leasing documents, in additional to reporting on leasing pipeline on weekly basis.
- Assist in developing detailed business development activities to help drive leasing and tenant relationships.
- Collaborate with external project team on multiple on-going capital projects (redevelopments, tenant improvements, etc.
- Assist in the implementation of project vision and company brand initiatives for new development and repositioning efforts.
- Oversee marketing efforts across the portfolio to ensure all websites, brochures and other relevant materials are up to date.
- Assist the Asset Management team to obtain and review relevant documents for ongoing tenant credit monitoring.
- Track and report leasing trends (vacancies, sublease activity, leasing activity and supply in the market) in the Life Science industry and maintain an in-depth knowledge of local area competition for various quarterly and monthly reporting activities.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 3-8 years of relevant work experience in Commercial Real Estate, experience within the Life Science industry a plus but not required.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Knowledge of real estate and deal-making.
- Familiarity with commercial office/industrial leases and purchase contracts.
- Strong financial, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Base Salary (based upon, and subject to, candidate experience): $150,000 - $210,000 (plus generous cash incentives). Job duties vary based on job title and experience.
