Experienced Property/Casualty Independent Adjuster Supervisor

Experienced  Property/Casualty Insurance Adjuster Supervisor; 4+ years experience is required for this position; no one with less than four (4) years of Full Time experience will be considered..

PLS Claims is an independent adjusting company headquartered in the Altanta area. PLS Claims represents numerous clients, including insurance companies, Syndicates at Lloyds, self-insureds and third- party administrators.

We continue to grow and are seeking a Supervisor to oversee and direct our team of  field adjusters in handling Property/Casualty insurance claims. This position requires a dynamic individual able to think clearly and maintain a situational awareness.

Key required skills include:

• Responsible for the comprehensive overview of all claim handling and management activities for claims, exercising first-line functional supervision over the work of  claim adjusters. 
• Provide adjusters with guidance on complex or large loss claims.
• Ability to review and understand policy coverages from a variety of insurers/coverage forms
• Knowledge of building construction (both residential and commercial preferred)
• General building valuation knowledge
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• The ability to work within and meet time deadlines
• Natural inquisitiveness & curiosity
• Ability to investigate, evaluate and settle liability claims
• The ability to work with a wide variety of people
• Strong written communication skills – including good grammar/punctuation
• Xactimate proficiency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
