Project Manager
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects from initiation to completion in support of the Air Force Military Construction (MILCON) program in the Pacific. Your role will involve planning, organizing, and executing tasks as part of a cross-functional team working directly with senior-level Air Force and Cherokee personnel. Your effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills will be essential in managing tasks, resolving issues, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery. You will play a key role in driving project success, meeting client expectations, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Project Manager: $110,000 -$130,000
Relocation may be available.
Pay commensurate with experience.

Project ManagerResponsibilities Include:
- Work as an integral part of Cherokee's team supporting headquarters-level Air Force execution of Military Construction (MILCON) projects ($5M to $1B) to manage high profile tasks from Headquarters Air Force, Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), and general office-level stakeholders.
- Work directly with Branch Managers (GS-14) and Cherokee leadership to gather information and draft responses on behalf of the client. Coordinate closely with Cherokee colleagues and government personnel to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.
- Develop and coordinate background papers, "snapshots," "staffing packages", and briefing slides. Detailed, accurate, and timely responses are particularly important.
- Ensure compliance with all company and customer policies and procedures.
- Maintain timely and effective communication with the customer organization to obtain a common understanding of their expectations.
- Uses database (e.g., TMT, NexGen, SharePoint, BUILDER) to research and document project details, track status, validate progress, and develop reports. Reference AFIs, Tongue and Quill, and business rules to develop deliverables.
- Verify and ensure data integrity by running reports and coordinates with users and government leadership.
- Assist in training standardized reporting requirements, including creating templates and training documents.
- Perform other management duties as required.
Project Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Five years' experience in working inside a similar DoD organization as military, civilian, or contractor, to include experience at a headquarters-level organization.
- Air Force civil engineering experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Must be flexible, adaptable and responsive.
- Ability to solve complex problems.
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Office software to prepare and modify reports, documents, and data tracking.
- Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and a driver-training card and operate a motor vehicle.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
