Job Description
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with expertise in managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and proficiency in budgeting and Project Portfolio Management (PPM). The successful candidate will lead RFP management process, project management efforts, ensuring the seamless execution of RFP processes, meticulous budget management, and effective PPM practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of the RFP process, from initiation to submission, ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables for RFP responses.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to gather necessary information, develop proposals, and review documentation.
- Conduct thorough reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with RFP requirements.
- Develop and manage project budgets, working closely with finance and relevant stakeholders to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor project expenditures, track financial performance, and identify potential risks or deviations from budgetary constraints.
- Implement cost-saving measures and optimization strategies to maximize project efficiency and resource utilization.
- Establish and maintain effective PPM processes, tools, and methodologies to prioritize and manage project portfolios effectively.
- Monitor project pipelines, resource allocation, and dependencies to ensure optimal portfolio balance and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Provide regular reporting and insights on portfolio performance, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years proven experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on managing RFP processes, budgeting, and PPM.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software/tools and MS Office suite.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.
