General Position Overview: We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Project Manager for our San Diego office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive project management services across commercial, residential, institutional, hospitality, and public works projects.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain effective relationships with clients, design teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate and direct multiple disciplines in a high-intensity environment.
- Direct and coordinate project teams to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.
- Enforce construction contracts and ensure compliance, exercising rigid control over project constraints.
- Lead, interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate project assignments of various sizes.
- Keep clients and their agents informed on relevant issues promptly.
- Perform in-depth analysis and management functions throughout all project phases.
- Travel to active construction worksites and engage in physical activities related to site management.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess:
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture.
- 7 years of experience in commercial and residential project applications.
- Preferred experience in Owner's Representation, managing designers, and contractors.
- Public Works experience is a plus.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office, Excel, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Adobe.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reporting, cost reports, and proposal preparations.
