Description
The NCMA LearnProject Manager collaborates on digital educational initiatives for the education website aimed at enhancing visitor engagement and learning experiences for diverse audiences. You will oversee the development and maintenance of the Museum's online educational platform, ensuring alignment with educational goals, user needs, and the Museum's mission of fostering art appreciation and learning.
Responsibilities
- Manage file organization and workflow associated with NCMA Learn.
- Oversee the work and schedule of interns working on the NCMA Learn revision.
- Attend meetings associated with new education content.
- Manage the work of research interns and interview candidates for summer revision.
- Perform WordPress tasks associated with the revision of NCMA Learn.
- Select artworks for revision to support education goals and future programming.
- Support the revision and uploading of educator resources (e.g., Ready-to-Go, NCMA Explore) to NCMA Learn: copyedit, clean up formatting, and upload to WordPress once reviewed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in writing, art history, museum studies, education, or related field
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in website development and digital content delivery, preferably within the education or cultural sector
- Strong understanding of art history, education pedagogies, and content management systems (CMS)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in digital tools and platforms for content creation and publication
- Passion for art and a commitment to fostering inclusive, accessible, and engaging educational experiences
