Cedar Fair Entertainment is seeking a Technical Project Manager for our Corporate office in Charlotte, NC. The Technical Project Manager will report to the Corporate VP, Infrastructure, Operations and Security and will work as a liaison between IT and other stakeholders when working on new system integrations to make sure project objectives are in alignment. They will help gather, analyze, and communicate requirements and changes to business processes, and policies.
Responsibilities:
• Develop project strategy plans based on stakeholder goals and business requirements
• Collect the necessary information required to start projects including stakeholder goals and business requirements
• Creates and maintains documentation related to projects including goals, business requirements, and user acceptance testing
• Perform regular project analysis and notify project team when project anomalies are discovered related to time-lines, objectives, or budget
• Communicate effectively with diverse teams across the company, internal divisions and external vendors on support updates, and project planning
• Create, manages, and distributes project reports including status reports and project closing reports
• Collaborate with other engineers, system administrators, software developers, users, and management to gather and communicate business requirements related to project implementations
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
• 4-6 years work related experience
• Professional Project Management Certifications preferred
• 5-10% travel required
• Strong understanding in project management and data analysis.
• Proficient in computer technology and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
