Job Duties
• The PM will be responsible for Tracking telecom data network circuits that are end of life or incurring cost increases via the various carriers in all the Regions.
• The PM will produce the spreadsheet with circuit information, add to Regional Team JIRA boards and then track each circuit to make sure the Regional teams are working the circuits till either disconnected or reengineered.
• The PM should understand Excel as a tracking tool.
• The PM will work in our JIRA tool to track progress of the circuits.
• The PM will help with Circuit solutions, people coordination as well as delivery and financial tracking.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• Graduation from a two-year college or university.
• Working knowledge of project management principles.
• Working Knowledge to Proficiency in Project Management, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving; Project related work experience; Risk Management; Project Leadership; Proven Collaborative Team Member.
Preferred Qualifications
• Graduation from a four-year college or university.
• Utility Technical Certifications Training; PMI (PMP or CAPM) Certification; CMII certificates; Professional Engineer License.
• Working knowledge to proficiency in project related Scheduling Cost Controls.
• Experience in utility industry.
• Knowledge in construction management.
• The Project Manager I may have relationships with individuals in various organizations ranging from individual contributors to Senior Department Leadership (i.e. individual contributors up to executive management).
