Job Description
Work you will do : We are seeking a Project Manager to contribute to our top growing biotech client. The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for leading a project in support of the clients' MDM Project Manager to support their Enterprise Data Management Program.
What you will do : Work at the operational level to close identified gaps in the following workstreams:
- Collibra / Data Catalog & Governance
- Infrastructure and Operations
- Data Standards Definition
The PM needs to drive these workstreams. PM responsibilities
- Determine and define project scope and objectives
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Track project costs in order to meet budget
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Develops effective project communication plans and ensures execution
- Identifies and works to resolve team issues
- Facilitates change requests to ensure all team members and stakeholders are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget
- Responsible for project deliverables, ensuring they adhere to quality standards
- Prepares project status reports for Sr. Management and/or PMO, and Stakeholders
- Conduct project Lessons Learned
Must Haves
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management. Strong background in Project Management Principles (Project Planning, Project Requirements, Project Estimating, Resource Management, Scheduling and Controlling, Facilitation, Risk Management, Procurement, Reporting Status, and Change Management)
- MDM Expertise
- Pharmaceutical experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships with all team members and stakeholders
- Experience facilitating status meetings and holding team members accountable for status, deliverables, and timely escalation of any barriers to success
- Strong negotiation skills to broker conversations and reach compromises
- PMP Certification
- gile Certification
