JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to manage the implementation of the new HR platform within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from initial planning and scoping to final delivery and post-implementation support. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of the new HR platform, ensuring the project is delivered within scope, on time, and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, finance, and operations, to gather requirements, define project objectives, and establish project timelines.
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, including tasks, dependencies, milestones, and resource allocation, and regularly communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Manage project risks and issues, identifying potential roadblocks and implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Coordinate and lead project meetings, workshops, and training sessions to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and knowledge transfer among project team members.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and standards for new HR platform implementation, configuration, and integration with existing systems.
- Collaborate with external vendors and consultants, as necessary, to facilitate the implementation and customization of the platform.
- Conduct regular project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous process and system enhancements.
- Provide guidance and support to end-users during the post-implementation phase, addressing any issues or concerns, and promoting user adoption and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in the platform, sharing knowledge and best practices with the project team and organization.
QUALIFICATIONS/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong PM skills; overseeing all PM pieces of project
- Stakeholder management; cross functional groups, being able to manage and clearly communicate between functional teams
- Has experience in HR; previously worked with HR platform implementations; HR Service Delivery module with Service Now; related platform experience is fine
- Computer Science; HR; Business fields as a degree, preferred, but not required
- Able to excel in a fast moving, fast paced project with many decisions/project management and work to be done in a tight time frame; multi task and manage priorities as they may change from day to day
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, Human Resources or a related field. Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, successfully leading and delivering large-scale software implementation projects, preferably on the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) or HR Service Delivery (HRSD) practices, processes, and frameworks preferred.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), with the ability to tailor approaches to the specific needs of the project.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a proactive and timely manner.
- Experience with ServiceNow platform configuration, integration, and customization is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality results.
