Estimator/Project Manager Description
Our client, in the commercial installation and construction industry, is looking for an Estimator/Project Manager to add to their team in Hanover County, VA. Reporting to the Vice President, you will be responsible for identifying potential projects, estimating and managing projects ranging from $25K-$5M. Our client is looking for someone with at least four years of commercial HVAC construction project management experience. To be successful in this role, you must be detail oriented and relationship driven with a strong attention to detail. Estimator/Project Manager Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors
• Receive bid invitations, review project for compatibility, and obtain drawings and specifications
• Perform take off on materials and equipment needed, obtain and evaluate vendor pricing
• Verify scope of work outlined in contract matches the scope of work priced
• Coordinate release of equipment and material for the job
• Visit jobsites to ensure design and installation compliance and assist with conflict resolution
• Review monthly cost reports to insure job profitability
• Remain up to date on product design, application and knowledge
Estimator/Project Manager Qualifications
• 4+ years of project management experience required
• 4+ years of commercial HVAC construction experience required
• Computer proficiency with Windows, Office and Acrobat required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
