Job Title: Project Manager / Estimator

Job Type: Full-Time (7:30 am - 4:00 pm)

Salary: Base $60k - $70k (with commission potential up to $150k, W2 only)

Job Description: As a Project Manager / Estimator at Capital Edge, you “write and run” projects from start to finish, serving as the homeowner's primary contact for ensuring smooth project execution. 

• Schedule job walk-throughs and inspections with homeowners, adjusters, and contractors, and inspectors. 
• Maintain open and regular communication with homeowners, setting and managing expectations effectively.
• Estimate project scope and cost to develop comprehensive estimates.
• Prepare contracts and manage the payment collection process.
• Oversee restoration projects ranging from $5,000 to $30,000+, ensuring successful execution.
• Ensure that all material selections are approved and signed off before commencing each trade.
• Remain actively engaged in project communication throughout its duration.
• Effectively manage change orders, supplements, and amendments.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget.
• Adhere to draw schedules and consistently provide progress updates.
• Capture and upload progress photos to Encircle during job walks.
• Maintain well-organized project files and consistently uphold draw schedules.
• Weekly updates for all jobs in Dash, including tagging Foreman, estimator, and accounting.
• Notify the team via email when a job is complete, facilitating invoicing and sending the completion form for signature.
• Schedule and conduct the final walk, obtaining final photos and collecting any remaining payments. 
• Work both onsite and in the office weekly.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Dash CRM, Matterport 3D Software, Xactimate, Encircle, and Google Suite.

Qualifications:

• Strong relationship-building skills with insurance adjusters and mitigation companies.
• Project management experience and construction knowledge. Experience in Fire and Water Restoration Construction is preferred
• Organized, caring, empathetic, and professional.
• Proficiency in Xactimate preferred.
• Strong communication, pricing, material knowledge, sales, and design preferred. 
• Ability to read blueprints and plans. 
• Spanish-Bilingual skills are a plus.
