Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager for our PMCM Sector to work on various commercial Buildings projects with New York City Agencies such as DDC, SCA, and NYCHA as well as other commercial facilities. This position will require some involvement in business development, both internal and external to the Company. In this role, you will share responsibility with Senior Project Manager for managing CM/PM workload. E-Builder software experience required.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides contribution to winning projects as Project Manager or key team member.
- Assists with the preparation of the project proposals for CM/PM clients.
- Directs the preparation, tracking, and submission of the project deliverables.
- Preparation and tracking of project schedules and delivery of projects on-time, within budgets, and within project scope.
- Tracks additional and out-of-scope work. Communication with clients, negotiation of fees for additional services, and delivery of contract modifications for such services.
- Manages client expectations and ensures client satisfaction related to project.
- Responsible for project quality. Assures QA/QC processes are completed on each project.
- Serve as a mentor and ensure the project team is properly trained and developing in their careers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or closely-related field required.
- Must have experience managing all phases of construction work on multiple contracts simultaneously as well as project management of complex commercial and residential facilities.
- Experience in the execution of NYCSCA, NYCDDC projects, as well as experience with NYCHA & E-Builder software, is required.
- OSHA 30 certification is required or ability to obtain within six months.
- With proper training, must be willing to enter confined spaces and ride scaffolds.
- Must have experience in new, rehab, and modernization construction.
- Requires knowledge of engineering principals, building codes, and industry standards.
- Ability to understand and interpret contract documents such as specifications, drawings and shop drawings.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software required.
