Project Manager Assistant

We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager Assistant to join our team. You will assist our busy team by supporting the Project Manager in all day-to-day tasks and step into the Role of a Lead Carpenter when needed. Our ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in residential construction and very strong communication and project management skills. $85,000 - $125,000 salary + bonus

• Calculate construction materials, product costs, labor, and time to estimate overall cost for construction projects
• Analyze blueprints, proposals, specifications, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole
• Furnish accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs
• Inquire with clients regarding the status of submitted proposal and budgets
• Create estimates, budgets, written proposals, costs, and updates for clients and Project Managers

• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification from the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) is preferred
• Comprehension of research methodology, accounting, data and risk analysis, and estimation metrics is crucial
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is needed
• Analytical skills, critical thinking, and very strong math skills are essential
