Description
- Manage multiple projects with varying team members
- Work with Clients, Business Development Staff, Managers and Engineers to coordinate project designs
- Work with existing clients and new prospects to identify business opportunities
- Prepare engineering, equipment and EPC proposals and fee estimates
- Prepare management reports for internal and external use
- Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and personnel
- Provide technical insight for alternate solutions to projects and project execution
- Utilize basic engineering principles and practical design solutions for scope development
- Quality control of projects managed and peer review if required
- Manage billing of projects and coordinate with AP/AR
- Time management to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Work with sub-consultant(s) to coordinate trades
- Attend job meetings & coordinate activities as required
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Complete and submit weekly paperwork (e.g. Timesheets, Expense Reports, etc.)
- Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding initiative, a well-organized and strong sense of responsibility
- Excellent computer knowledge and advanced skills using CAD and Microsoft Office applications are required
- Background check clearance
- Valid drivers license.
- First Aid/AED
- OSHA 10
- University degree, or related electrical engineering, electrical construction, technical operations or project management training and / or experience specific to electrical projects is preferred.
- Two to five years of experience
- Electrical or renewable energy utility experience ideal
- PMP certification is desired, but not required.
