Project Manager

Position Summary:

IEM is looking for a Full Time – Project Manager.

Primary Location:

• Candidate must live a commutable distance to Guaynabo, PR.
• Position will be a fully in office role, we cannot accommodate remote work from home.

Travel Requirements:

Essential Functions:

• Direct and coordinate all daily activities related to training, communications, scheduling, deliverables, staffing designation, evaluation, risk assessment, and management.
• Contact and manage relations with elected officials for sub-recipients or potential sub-recipients of Federal and Local Programs under contract with PRASA.
• Ensure review and compliance with all Federal and Local Programs, monitoring, and statutory requirements in coordination with Financial Officers in developing and implementing projects.
• Act as a deputy point of contact with PRASA or its representative.
• Oversee logistics management, ensuring that procedures are in place to align with the program’s goals and objectives.
• Oversee standards of performance, safety policies, and procedures for Federal and Local Programs compliance and adjust internal policies as necessary.
• Direct Human Resources and management activities on the operational side of the programs and may determine the staff needed to accomplish the operational tasks.
• Evaluate, estimate, and proactively manage program-related workload requirements.
• Coordinate, support, and analyze performance measurement of sub-recipients and report results in coordination with PRASA or representative.
• Maintain a complete understanding of all applicable Program policies, requirements, procedures, and guidelines and possess knowledge of regulatory and statutory compliance requirements.
• Monitor all sub-recipient procurement activities and keep PRASA informed of compliance, regulatory and performance issues that may affect programs.
• Ensure all applicable policies and regulations are compliant and identify/promote all necessary corrective actions.
• Ensure all program participants, including stakeholders, know all policy changes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering related field, Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting, or similar discipline.
• Must have professional licenses and/or certifications related to the required degree, valid in Puerto Rico.
• Must have at least ten (10) years of experience, a minimum of six years of related management or supervision experience working with Federal Funded Programs.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish Languages preferred but not required.
• Must be working locally from Puerto Rico
