It Project Manager (On-Site Puerto Rico)

Our customer is searching for a Mid-Level IT Project Manager with at least 5-7 years of experience. This is a contract-based opportunity, in-person and located in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The role of the IT Project Manager is to plan, execute, coordinate, and finalize projects according to deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The IT Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Requirements:

• BS in Comp Science, Comp Eng, Ind Eng, Info Systems or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant project management experience (IT and Business projects).
• 5+ years of proven experience leading, managing and working with other PM's.
• Experience implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight timeframes.
• Strong leadership and communications skills, among others.
• Lots of exposure working with all organizational levels of the company.
• PMP Certified preferred.
