About this Position:
Responsibilities include:
- Creates, promotes, and manages critical development milestones. Collaborates with development team leadership as early as 39 weeks prior to a build event ensuring that key milestones are kept leading up to a pre-production build. Correlates with the final production factory, Design and Test PLs, Buyers, Fabrication Leadership to confirm details are clear leading to on-time delivery of development units to test groups.
- Directs coordination of schedules among development team, purchasing, and fabrication leadership ensuring all parties’ interests are appropriately represented.
- Reports project status to Prototype Purchasing and Production Departments at weekly meetings. Promotes collaborative discussions so that potential issues are disclosed, discussed, and addressed.
- Attends team meetings and drives two-way communication regarding team needs/wants versus supplier possibilities.
- Develops countermeasures for problems related to part application, part delivery, schedule concerns, build sequence, and any other issue related to on-time delivery of critical test units to the function groups.
Required Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in project management, Supply Chain, Engineering and other related fields
Other job specific skills:
Microsoft office products, especially Excel skills, SAP experience.
- Hybrid office and remote (60/40)
- Travel as required (10% - 20%)
- Overtime as required to maintain procurement operations.
