We’re excited to be partnering with a global AM Law 100 law firm in their search for an experienced Finance Associate to join their office in Washington, D.C.
With experience in solar, wind, hydroelectric, transmissions grid, and oil and gas, they have played a huge part in some of the largest energy projects.
As their Associate, you will support the team by drafting, negotiating, communicating with and advising clients.

Main Responsibilities within this role will include, but are not limited to:
Working closely with clients to manage and close their renewable and alternative energy projects.
Performing diligence and providing guidance regarding financial and transactional documents.
Identifying transactional risks for clients.
Leading the negotiation, drafting, and critical review of equity and financing agreements.
Assisting with all development aspects associated with the financial close process (both debt and tax equity).
Your Profile:
Must be admitted or be eligible for admission to the D.C. Bar.
3 or more years of transactional experience.
Renewable deal experience required.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate to all levels of management.
Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work, and deliver acceptable commercial and legal results, under strict deadlines.
