As a key member of our Cubic Digital Intelligence (CDI) team you will contribute to the successful execution of our DoD Partner leading a diverse group of engineers, developers and program leads to design, develop, and integrate our solutions with 3rd party vendors to support the customer's mission. The successful candidate will be the primary technical point of contact across the cross-functional project team, such as Program Management, Product Development Team, System Engineering, Product Delivery, UX/UI, Operations, and Prime Contractor support. You will directly support the Program Manager to define baseline project schedules, system requirements, subsystem requirements, systems configurations, architectures, and designs. You will provide input on change requests to support change management processes with our customer. You will support removing roadblocks to engineering activities. Our software solutions support operations world-wide and are deployed globally in multi-domain environments providing critical compute resources for US and partner coalition forces.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Planning, Forecasting, Monitoring, and Course Correcting of projects to meet Cost, Schedule, and Scope
• Work with functional managers and product owners to secure engineering resources needed to successfully execute the project.
• Serve as Technical Support to the Program Manager for customer engagements.
• Assist the Program Manager with schedule status, controlling project costs, and managing risks and technical issues.
• Reporting to stakeholders and leadership on the past performance, status, and predictive indicators of future performance for the project.
• Interface and primary technical point of contact of the cross-functional project team, such as Program Management, Product Development Team, System Engineering, Product Delivery, UX/UI, Operations, and any subcontractors.
• Manage the creation, maintenance, review, and QA of the System Design documents and artifacts in accordance with the contract and company processes.
• Ensure all required customer change requests (CR) and other authorizations and approvals (SWAP, A&A) for software deployment are submitted complete and on time.
• Collaborate with Product Delivery, Operations, Program Management, Product Management, Direct Customer, and other stakeholders to implement solutions and transitions from project to operations.
• Support defect identification, resolution, and monitoring of test status.
• Establish and review engineering Statements of Work and work breakdown structures in conjunction with project plans and schedules.
• Develop engineering estimates using appropriate methods such as bottom-up and parametric techniques.
• Monitor/coordinate SDLC of the system to include integration, test/QA into the customer environments.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• This position requires an Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain clearance.
• Four-year college degree in computer science, systems engineering, software engineering, information technology, or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of related experience, and/or the combined equivalent of experience, education, or technical certifications.
• Relevant background related to integration of hardware and software.
• Ability to travel for meetings, briefings, demonstrations, and integration/test activities when required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to solve complex and difficult system design and engineering problems.
• Ability to interface with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and deal with employees and managers at all levels both within and outside of the engineering organization.
• Coordinate activities with cross-functional teams under project deadlines, understand associated cost and schedule constraints.
• Applicant expected to travel a maximum of 25% of the time to customer sites.
• This is a hybrid position with 3 days per week in-office or on client site. #LI-hybrid
