Job Details
Qualifications
- 4-year B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
- E.I.T or P.E (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Work on a variety of different types of projects such as wastewater, storm water, drainage, and transportation projects
- Detailed design of potable water and wastewater pipelines, drainage systems, hydraulic studies, pumping stations, pavement and local roadways
- Hydraulic and hydrologic modeling designs for drainage basins, water quality improvement and storm water collection systems
- Design of a variety of projects and study types including roadway, underground utility, drainage, traffic, and infrastructure improvements
- Performing analyses using Geographic Information System (GIS) tools
- Preparing potable water, storm water, roadway and wastewater master planning reports
- Review and planning of water, storm water, roadway and wastewater infrastructure improvements, and understanding of sustainable design elements as they relate to water and energy conservation and efficiency
- Complete general civil engineering services for municipal, county and state clients
- Assist with construction engineering services for municipal, county and state clients
- Traffic analysis and modeling
