Job Description
- Provide document control and turnover coordination support that promotes teamwork and contributes to the successful delivery of project
- Develop, implement, and maintain the construction document control and turnover management plan
- Develop and implement the project document control procedures and ensure compliance by the entire project team through training as the subject matter expert.
- Lead the overall effort to develop and maintain the construction document control and turnover plan deliverables of the Company execution plans
- Develop and maintain the company document control and turnover management plan portion of the construction team’s readiness process prior to mobilization and through the installation phase of the project.
- Provide document control and turnover support ensuring construction team is trained and follows all document control and turnover management readiness process items prior to mobilization.
- Ensure overall implementation and compliance of all local, state, and federal permit stipulations, codes, standards, specifications by the company site team members and all assigned fabricators
- Provide key document control and turnover management input and overall ownership to the construction risk management plan
- Support the construction site HSSE management plan implemented on the project and ensure everyone assigned to and visits the site is fully aware of the HSSE plan with the goal being ZERO-Incidents, Accident, and Injuries
- Facilitate the daily distribution of all project documentation from/to COPA, project site team and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate daily turnover status/integration meetings at the site to ensure a smooth turnover process is maintained until all systems have been completed and ownership is transferred to operations
- Lead the daily coordination of system and work package walk downs including schedule each walk down, send out walk down notification and capture all IWL comments
- Develop and maintain all turnover files and tracking tools for ease of documentation transfer to the client files
- Provide overall turnover tracking and schedule updates to the construction site team to ensure daily, weekly and monthly turnover schedules are reviewed and updated daily throughout the completion process
- Maintain and manage construction turnover documentation to ensure all vendor, fabricator, contractor, pre-commissioning, and client documentation is compiled, complete and is transmitted to operations document control team and operations start up team as defined in the project turnover documentation procedures
- Attends training sessions, seminars and appropriate educational classes required by department.

- Education: Associates Degree in Construction or related field. Directly related work experience may qualify to substitute on a year for year basis to meet the education requirement.
- Work Experience: Seven (7) years’ experience with Document Control and Turnover Coordinator in the Oil & Gas Industry.
- License/Certifications:
- Current and valid Driver License with clean driving record
- OHSA 10 Certification, or ability to obtain upon hire
- H2S Certification, or ability to obtain upon hire
- Alaska locations only: North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) Training

- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical project management procedures, standards, and specifications

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type, talk and hear.

- Visual Acuity: must be adequate to perform all required tasks in a safe manner.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate but may be loud on occasion.
- Work is usually done in an office setting and sometimes at a client facility or job site.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, vehicles, and equipment.
- Alaska locations only: The employee must be able to physically travel by air within, and out of, the State of Alaska.
- The employee will be required to work and stay on site during the work rotation and must comply with all Company and Client policies including but not limited to attendance, safety, COVID 19 testing and vaccination.
