Role OverviewAs Project Associate, you will support the project team in all phases of design and documentation: from site planning all the way through to construction administration. You will assist in the creation of design drawings and 3D models, site planning, field observation, administrative tasks and more. Key Job Functions
- Assist in creating 3D models.
- Assist in creation and coordination of plans, elevations, sections, etc.
- Assist in creating complete set of CAD/BIM drawings.
- Assist in setup of design drawings.
- Produce design ideas and concepts.
- Assist in executing schematic design drawings.
- Refine and coordinate plans, elevations, sections, etc.
- Format graphics for presentations.
- Assist with design development by refining and coordinating plans, elevations, sections, etc.
- Assist in creating complete set of CAD/BIM design development following cartoon set or drawing set example.
- Understand required deliverables of this phase.
- Aid construction documentation by incorporating redline comments from supervisor.
- Assist in continued development of drawings.
- Assist with plan check corrections.
- Assist in coordination with other disciplines.
- Cartoon a set of drawings for a simple project following KTGY standards and sample projects.
- Participate in construction administration by assisting in administrative tasks, preparation of responses to RFIs and submittals and attend site visits when requested.
- Good graphical skills and can communicate graphically
- Ability to research and learn various codes and ordinances
- Basic proficiency using the following software:
- AutoCAD (required)
- Revit (preferred)
- SketchUp
- Adobe Suite
- MS Office
- 4-year Architectural degree and/or combination of required education and experience.
- Basic understanding of building codes, including national and state local codes and/or where they can be located.

The wage range that the Company expects to pay is $26.50/hour - $30/hour.
