Freelance Associate Project Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a proactive, self-starting, critical thinking, detail-oriented Associate Project Manager who can quickly get up-to-speed on our process for multi-channel digital banner projects. The Associate Project Manager works with the Project Manager or Sr. Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on-time. These projects are mostly adaptation and localization of assets.

Location: Hybrid out of our Long Beach, CA office.

Schedule:  Mandatory in office 3 days per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs) and 2 remote (Mon, Fri). Hours are 9-6pm

Hourly Salary Range: $25- $30/hr. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• For larger projects manage day-to-day tasks assigned by PM/Sr. PM or manage smaller digital localization projects autonomously with Sr. PM oversight.
• Appropriately prioritize and manage the workflow internally and externally with the client. Ensure every necessary step of project scope is accounted for within the schedule and clearly organize and forecast deliverables and dependencies.
• Serve as liaison between internal teams and maintain communications with team members, ensuring that Client needs are met, and flags are raised as needed.
• Capture meeting notes and client feedback to ensure all items are acted upon.
• Motivate teams to create a collaborative environment where we can produce great work.
• Assess risks/potential issues and bring solution options to PM/Sr. PM
• Communicate daily with PM/Sr. PM

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proactive critical thinker, self-starter, detail-oriented and well-organized
• A bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, information systems or a related field.
• 2+ years project management experience managing timelines and people in an agency or related environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Experience in digital banner production/localization is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production artists and in large cross-functional team.
• Technical skills: Mac fluent, Spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets), Cloud Content Management (Google Drive).
