Job Description
TETER, Inc. a 100% employee-owned architecture and engineering firm, is seeking a highly motivated Project Assistant and Director of First Impressions to support our Modesto office in completing a variety of projects including education, industrial, energy, federal, private sector, healthcare, and commercial. The Project Assistant/DOFI must enjoy the dynamics of a busy office, delight in providing excellent customer service both internally and externally, be able to work fairly independently, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The Project Assistant/DOFI is a dual faceted role, which includes:
- Providing administrative assistance to our Project Administration Team, Business Unit Leaders, Partners, and Project Managers as they complete a variety of architecture and engineering projects; and
- Serving as the office's receptionist in the Modesto office, greeting visitors and clients, Word processing, conference room scheduling, shipping, mail distribution, and ensuring the office is neat and organized.
Requirements
- Equivalent to a high school diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Must have valid driver license and insurable driving record.
- 2+ years of experience as executive assistant or related field.
- Ability to maintain a composed and professional demeanor within a busy work environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and provides complete follow through on all areas of responsibility.
- Positive attitude and team spirit. Willing to go the extra mile to get things done.
- Reliable and able to manage a heavy workload, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with computers including office software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and accounting software packages

Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $20 - $23 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, business needs, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Additional pay may be earned through TETER's quarterly bonus program.
