Position Summary: The primary role of the Human Resources Assistant is to provide hands-on support of an active HR department that is supporting a dynamic organization. This is an entry level position that will be responsible for supporting the following HR areas: employee relations; employee onboarding department organization and data entry.
Duties and Responsibilities: The main categories consist of the following; other duties may be assigned:
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
· Maintain confidentiality and establish trust within the office and properties.
· Keep Human Resource files, records, and documentation accurate and up-to-date.
· Answer general questions from applicants and employees, referring more complex inquiries to senior HR staff.
· Provide administrative support to the HR department, including managing daily mail and telephone inquiries.
· Conduct onboarding and initial training of new hires and assist with verification of employment.
· Support volunteer and intern processing
· Support with HR system entry including requesting & uploading files, and status changes
· Ensurs all HR related notices are posted prominently
· Assist with special projects as needed.
Education and Experience
· 1-3 years of experience in a Human Resources support roles
· Associates degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
· Five plus years of equivalent level HR management-level experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum three years of equivalent level Human Resources management-level experience required.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint strongly preferred.
- Some experience with HRIS systems preferred.
Other Qualifications
· Must complete a Live Scan Background Check.
· Attention to detail, strong organization and communication skills, and solid record-keeping are a must.
· Ability to successfully work on a range of assignments and prioritize evolving tasks.
· Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
