G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Project Architect/Project Manager to join its team in the Kingwood area.
Summary
This individual will be responsible for producing high-quality project design deliverables. This individual will work on any/all phases of development including Pre-Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration. This individual will report to a Partner or Principal on tasks and deliverables and work with them to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget constraints, and in accordance with quality and Client standards. This individual will also be responsible for managing the time of several Project Coordinators who are responsible for assisting Project Architects/Project Managers in the production of high-quality permit drawings for projects.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the Design Leadership in establishing format, drawing assignments, deliverables, and schedules.
- Generate new concepts and create fresh project ideas to meet client requirements.
- Produce high-quality visuals for presentations, such as renderings and animations.
- Be an effective presenter of ideas and concepts to staff and Clients.
- Create design concepts and continue the development through all design phases (i.e., SD/DD/CD).
- Participate in/lead design with staff and clients.
- Function as a conduit between the conceptual design process and architectural documentation implementation.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience is preferred.
- Experience with Education architecture preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture is required.
- A license to practice Architecture in the State of Texas preferred
- Proficiency in Revit is required.
- Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task, and assess project workloads to prioritize deadlines accordingly.
- Able to collaborate with design team environment and senior management.
- Ability to interact with senior management, external client organizations, and vendors.
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Have extremely strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be quality-minded and self-motivated.
