Project Administrative Assistant

We seek a Project Administrative Assistant to help expand our successful commercial and residential concrete company throughout the DFW metroplex. You will eventually oversee bid coordination, project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. You will help build and maintain lasting relationships with New Home Builders, General Contractors and Materials Vendors to ensure future project synergy for years to come.

Responsibilities Once Trained:

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction administration or other related fields is desired
• Familiarity with construction management software is a plus
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure and with others on the team
