Job description
The Project/Accounting Assistant is responsible for reviewing for accuracy, and processing construction contracts. They ensure that all parties involved, subcontractors, and suppliers, understand and adhere to the terms and conditions of the contract process.
This position will also be carrying out administrative functions to support the accounting and operations, leadership team. This individual directly assists with the accounting and operations department's administration and day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Process subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders to vendors.
- Create and file for Notice of Commencements on new projects.
- Process owner’s pay applications and invoices and collect additional paperwork for owner pay application and invoices for back up.
- Maintain a detailed record of all project-related documents, including contracts, change orders, invoices, and correspondence.
- Help finalize/process Owner Contracts for the CEO.
- Maintain digital and physical financial records
- Assist Process Manager and Sr Management when needed
- Process subcontractor/vendor invoices and pay applications and insurance
Construction experience: Required
Accounting experience: Required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
