Project Accountant - Construction

Commercial Construction General Contractor is looking for a Project Accountant. This position works in conjunction with the project management and finance teams with billings, payments, reports and other duties as required. You will be responsible for maintaining job cost ledger details as well as monitoring cost-effective data to provide an appropriate level of costing information to management. Some of the other duties will include: job cost accounting for new projects, coding invoices to A/P, review of lien waivers/invoices to ensure information is complete, review budgets and reallocation of costs with Project Managers, end of month duties, working with AIA documents and more. Background in construction preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Candidate needs to be proficient with Microsoft Office products, a problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong general ledger, A/P, A/R, and detail oriented. A four year accounting degree or equivalent work experience necessary.  Salary based on experience with bonus.
