Commercial Construction Loan Administrator

Job Description

The Commercial Construction Loan Administrator will be responsible to manage the disbursement of real estate construction loans and work with the Closing Specialist to ensure that all pre-closing construction requirements have been met.  This position maintains accurate and up-to-date construction documentation of complex residential and commercial construction loans. Act as a liaison between the bank inspectors, Title Companies, Loan Officers, and all other related third parties to coordinate and facilitate the construction disbursements and partial releases. 

Requirements

·         Assist with the closing of construction transactions and facilitates disbursement through life of loan; Clearing completed construction loan files for closing, reviewing the documentation checklist, confirming that any outstanding construction documents needed to close a loan have been collected

·         Work with Relationship Manager during the construction process to coordinate hands-on management of the loan, including managing site inspections, title bring to dates, draw requests for analysis/processing, and budget analysis/oversight.

·         Partner with the Post-closing Team Lead to review third party reports, AIA construction documents and other documentation in order to facilitate advances and partial releases; work with Relationship Managers to remedy deficiencies or issues discovered during the analysis of submitted construction documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all documents.

·         Construction monitoring of both residential and commercial loans.  Set up Excel workbooks with loan specific draw schedules for complex loans.

·         Process funding in accordance with the loan conditions; review inspection reports and draw documentation for accuracy, and for conformance with the budget, loan approval, and Loan Agreement.

·         Manage monthly End of Draw and 30-day No Draw Reports.

·         Manage monthly Asset Based Line of Credit Report.

Qualifications

·         3 or more years of Commercial Construction Loan Administration.

·         Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.

·         Strong oral and written communication skills.

·         Strong analytical and research skills.

·         Detail Oriented

·         Ability to meet deadlines.

·         Ability to maintain the confidentiality of credit and Customer information.

·         Good interpersonal skills and team orientation.
