The Programs Coordinator will contribute to world class customer service through superior organization, communication, and customer service for our program builders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Work with sales to maintain a task list including deadlines for each design/task that is reviewed a minimum of once weekly to confirm correct prioritization.
- Manage and maintain program templates within Tharp's cabinet vision software to ensure quality designs a passed to drafting
- Manage and complete job entry into Tharp's ERP system
- Manage and maintain the file structure for each job through the selections, job entry, and drawing finalization phases of the project
- Submit and follow up on samples to confirm they are on time and a proper match for customer meetings.
- Submit, follow up, and facilitate completion of CERs as needed potentially including researching materials price/lead times, calling pre-quote design review meetings, etc.
- Facilitate customer sign off and adherence to Tharp process flows by builders for superior customer experience
- Follow up on action items assigned to internal team members.
- Attend and/or run customer meetings as necessary to take notes and document decisions with the meeting.
- Request additional resources if needed to meet deadlines, and effectively delegate by setting expectations and following up to confirm designers are on track.
- Monitoring email communication to and from customers and answering questions when the Program Manager is unavailable.
- Monitor quality and adherence to Tharp drawings standards and teach/guide other designers when quality problems are found.
- Participate in monitoring all design and sales short orders associated projects, finding root cause, and implementing countermeasures to keep quality problems from reoccurring.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration preferred but not required
- 2 years experience in a construction field required
- 2 years of CAD based software required, cabinet vision experience preferred
- 2 years of direct work experience in cabinetry preferred
- Proven experience working independently and in a team environment.
- Capable of managing schedule for self and others

- Must be highly organized, and able to adapt to changing priorities to provide superior customer service
- Can adapt to ever changing priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and root cause countermeasure capabilities. Adept at driving issues to root cause for corrective action.
- Must be able to over communicate with customers and internal team members in person, over the phone, and in writing
- Reacts to project changes and non-conformances efficiently and effectively
- Ability to effectively read architectural drawings and company documentation

- Ability to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders within and outside of the company.

- Strong Written and oral communication skills
- Strong knowledge of computer systems and technology
- Ability to prioritize and effectively execute in a high-pressure environment.

Salary Description
$21/hr to $25/hr
