Program Manager

SUMMARY: Responsible for planning & managing all M.P.R.C (Modular Portable Roller Conveyor) customers and projects from quotation to installation. Manages the detailed technical schedule and financial performance of the project to deliver a quality conveyor system on-time and on-budget. Serves as the main point of contact to customers as well as all internal cross-functional team members including sales, engineering, purchasing, production & field installation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop and manage project schedule to ensure on-time completion of the contractually required project milestones including proposals, equipment delivery, commissioning & launch support.

· Coordinate shipping schedule with Logistics, Field Project Managers & Start Up Managers for seamless delivery & installation of conveyor equipment.

· Serve as primary point of contact between LEWCO & customer upon order entry. Hosts weekly meetings with customers to communicate on-going project schedules. Builds & maintains a positive relationship with customers & all associated suppliers with the project.

· Visits any active install assigned as a High-Risk project. Resolves field installation problems by maintaining close contact with customers and field personnel. Responsible for managing and communicating the active punch list of issues during a project installation phase. Coordinates timely corrective action with internal and external resources while minimizing cost impact to the project.

· Report & track project performance monthly including but not limited to; forward monthly revenue projections, estimated project completion dates & final contribution margin results compared to plan. Recap lessons learned to drive corrective actions for continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Excellent leadership and team-building experience with the ability to integrate a diverse group of people to achieve common goals.

· Great organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a change-oriented, fast-paced, high stress environment where schedules, deadlines, and customer demands can shift priorities.

· Ability to develop, monitor, analyze, and control project budgets.

· Strong reporting and presentation skills required.

· Fluent in the Microsoft Office suite.

· 5+ years in advanced management role

EDUCATION

· Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as proposals, engineering drawings, specifications, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

A fundamental understanding of profitability metrics and cost-based accounting. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Excellent computer skills required. Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and various data base applications. Previous use of ERP system preferred with knowledge in Syteline a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. Employee spends time on shop floor regularly. Time will be spent sitting in front of a computer and use of the phone.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the position is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The position works in both office and shop settings.
