We are searching for a Program Manager, Engineering for Corona, CA to join our team.
Essential Functions:
- Build robust project capability within operations by developing, implementing and maintaining infrastructure of business processes, procedures, supporting tools, training and enabling systems.
- Manage engineering programs and projects using program/project management tools, techniques, and software applications (including Microsoft Office suite).
- Partner with Operations Leadership Team to establish dashboards and metrics and provide governance to various capital engineering and product development projects.
- Lead and manage projects involving multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in New Product Introduction, Continuous Improvement, and Quality Management planning, prioritizing, and recommending projects based on data and facts.
- Use data-driven analysis to identify, evaluate, recommend, and execute engineering work at Fender's Corona site to improve efficiencies and drive standardization of process.
- Execute engineering projects that support Fender's Corona Strategic objectives and oversee project timeline development.
- Collect and synthesize data into meaningful business metrics to enable engineering work prioritization, develop project plans, and execute work for measurable business results while managing risk.
- Manage budget, including cost estimates and spend coordination with finance and operations to capture all related expense and budgetary numbers associated with engineering projects.
- Identify systems and technology improvements to support efficient execution of operations functions inclusive of Manufacturing and supply chain.
- Act as center of excellence to train and educate cross-functional stakeholders as a subject matter expert in Lean, Six Sigma and Operations Best practices.
- Work cross-functionally across all levels to help drive engineering results across entire value chain that create visible improvements in End to End operations. #LI-DNI (No agencies or phone calls please.)
Qualifications:
- Requires Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain or Logistics and 3 years of experience as a project engineer, engineering supervisor, or a related engineering occupation.
- Must possess 3 years of experience with:
- Engineering in a manufacturing environment;
- Strategic planning, program/project management tools, techniques, and software applications (including Microsoft Office suite);
- Leading and managing projects with multidisciplinary teams;
- Budget management, including cost estimates and spend coordination;
- Project timeline development; and
- Continuous Improvement and Quality Management techniques such as 5S, Six Sigma and Lean Practices

Please note that it is not typical for a Fender employee to be at or near the top of the pay scale for their role - especially as a new hire - and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Subject to the foregoing, the current pay scale for this position is $99,403 - $108,000per year.
