Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Take charge of project lifecycles, assuming responsibility for project timelines to ensure the timely completion and delivery of assigned tasks.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with essential stakeholders in our group, including physicians, administrative personnel, and billing teams, to ensure seamless alignment and effective execution of Lab projects.
- Vendor and Partner Management: Oversee relationships with vendors and strategic partners to ensure quality and timely lab services
- Operational Enhancement: Streamline, oversee and optimize lab sample collection and processing workflows, refining processes from sample ordering to lab delivery.
- Representing Physician Needs: Synthesize and convey physician requirements to IT and third-party vendors for lab ordering and result management, guaranteeing the seamless integration of technology with clinical necessities.
- Education: Work closely with the Physicians, Billers and all internal stakeholders to educate them on the best practices and workflows for laboratory diagnostic services.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and improve laboratory processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation to track project progress, budgetary adherence, and performance metrics for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
- Demonstrated project management experience, preferably with a minimum of a couple of years, including successful project delivery and stakeholder coordination.
- Prior experience in lab management, phlebotomy, or healthcare administration is highly desirable..
- Prior experience in cross-organizational coordination or partnership management is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills are essential for effectively liaising with diverse stakeholders and vendors.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions and project activities.
- Ability to adapt to changing project priorities and requirements in a dynamic healthcare environment, including those of external partners.
