Lab Program Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lab Program Manager to join our Health Center team. Our Health Center is dedicated to providing the highest quality of medical care in a rapidly changing healthcare landscape. The Lab Program Manager will play a vital role in coordinating, optimizing, and overseeing strategic initiatives that enable our group to assure access to high quality care for residents of our community. Laboratory Diagnostic Services are key to our organization and patient care. This role is to coordinate those services: Phlebotomy to Reporting across our organization and partner network. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Take charge of project lifecycles, assuming responsibility for project timelines to ensure the timely completion and delivery of assigned tasks.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with essential stakeholders in our group, including physicians, administrative personnel, and billing teams, to ensure seamless alignment and effective execution of Lab projects.
• Vendor and Partner Management: Oversee relationships with vendors and strategic partners to ensure quality and timely lab services
• Operational Enhancement: Streamline, oversee and optimize lab sample collection and processing workflows, refining processes from sample ordering to lab delivery.
• Representing Physician Needs: Synthesize and convey physician requirements to IT and third-party vendors for lab ordering and result management, guaranteeing the seamless integration of technology with clinical necessities.
• Education: Work closely with the Physicians, Billers and all internal stakeholders to educate them on the best practices and workflows for laboratory diagnostic services.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and improve laboratory processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation to track project progress, budgetary adherence, and performance metrics for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Demonstrated project management experience, preferably with a minimum of a couple of years, including successful project delivery and stakeholder coordination.
• Prior experience in lab management, phlebotomy, or healthcare administration is highly desirable..
• Prior experience in cross-organizational coordination or partnership management is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills are essential for effectively liaising with diverse stakeholders and vendors.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions and project activities.
• Ability to adapt to changing project priorities and requirements in a dynamic healthcare environment, including those of external partners.
