The Deck Carpenter will work closely with our team of professionals to deliver high-quality results and ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires strong carpentry skills, attention to detail, and excellent craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Create deck plans and designs based on client requirements
- Construct decks using various materials
- Install support beams, joists, and decking boards
- Ensure decks are structurally sound and meet safety standards
- Repair and replace damaged or worn-out deck components
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Be able to take accurate measurements
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in deck construction
- General Liability Preferred
- Proficiency in carpentry techniques and tools
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and own set of tools
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions
