As a pivotal leader within the Health & Wellbeing program, the Program Manager is instrumental in steering the direction of knowledge and content development, enhancing automation efficiencies, and spearheading comprehensive training initiatives. This role is dedicated to owning and executing advanced education and communication strategies, both internally and externally, to align with Corporate and HR objectives effectively. The Manager is tasked with crafting seamless workflows designed to refine experiences, thereby minimizing employee and labor risks.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge and Content Leadership: Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the program’s knowledge bases, templates, standard work, and communications. This extends to both our internal team and our network of external vendors, ensuring everyone is equipped with the necessary tools and information.

  • Innovation through Automation: Leverage cutting-edge technology, including BOTs and automation tools, to refine and enhance the tools and resources available. Analyze the impact of these innovations to ensure they meet our strategic goals.

  • Training and Development: Act as a subject matter expert in the learning management systems used by our vendors. Utilize insights from escalations and feedback to facilitate and create impactful training sessions. These initiatives aim to foster continuous improvement in our programs, processes, and procedures, ultimately boosting productivity, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

  • Strategic Implementation: Build effective workflows and experiences that address and mitigate potential employee and labor risks. This involves a keen focus on continuous improvement activities that not only meet but exceed culture needs, encourage an intrapreneurial spirit, and adhere to compliance standards.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

  • Works with team leaders in Health & Wellbeing to establish information and consistent approach across service lines of health benefits, leave, disability, accommodations, workers’ compensation, onsite care clinics, new hire/candidate support, drug & alcohol testing and other activities of work.
  • Interfaces with developers and IT, creates user stories, builds out testing scripts, performs user acceptance testing, creates surveys, responds to feedback, and helps to deliver for end users self-service and software-as-a-service automation.
  • Uses knowledge of employee and labor relations outcomes to improve workflow, content, or education within Health & Wellbeing delivery using BOTs, AI, templates and automation to improve experience and reduce risk/impact of absence on production and operations, for union and non-union workforce. 
  • Creates specialized workflow to target needs within a location to address experience needs across the enterprise. 
  • Evaluates and implements content to vendors for use on Gallo information exchange that is consistent, accurate, and reliable. 
  • Uses process improvement methodology and tools with cross-functional team members to develop effective solutions and implementation plans with both a short- and long-term focus.
  • Gathers data and best practices to inform, educate, communicate, and recommend solutions on areas of opportunity.
  • Advises on appropriate technology-driven learning solutions, the benefits of different approaches to training, and creates resources for use. 
  • Facilitates and oversees the development of trainings to include content development, legal review, and final execution with vendors.
  • Creates reports and metrics in consultation with COE for the functional areas of Health & Wellbeing. Builds processes and systems to maintain and sustain improvements over time.
  • Maintains highly confidential and sensitive information during the normal course of business.
  • Assists team with escalations and back-up coverage. 
  • Trains and provides guidance to human resource representatives and management regarding Health & Wellbeing processes.
  • Creates and sustains content architecture that includes content/program naming conventions, taxonomy, approval process, review cycles, release protocols, and configuration management practices.
  • Supports the advanced technical “configuration” of knowledge content on internal and vendor sites.

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of human resources experience to include leave management, Health & Wellbeing or worker’s compensation experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience working with all levels and functions within the Company.
  • Experience reading and interpreting documents such as corporate policies, operational practices, standard work, collective bargaining agreements, and procedure manuals.Demonstrated trust and strong relationships directly tied to skill and expertise in commanding the attention and presenting information to various groups of employees and vendors; including executive level personnel.
  • Experience completing assignments requiring originality and ingenuity.
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Experience using insights on problem areas and creating training, content, and simple instructions and materials for coaching and educating others to close the gap and improve outcomes.
  • Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

 

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of human resources experience to include leave management or worker’s compensation experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Master’s degree plus 5 years of human resources experience to include leave management or worker’s compensation experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. 
  • Experience with systems implementations that support employees across the organization.
  • Experience with automation and driving efficiencies with technology. 

 

COMPENSATION:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $98,000 -$147,000
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
