Job description
Lead and align multi-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, process, reliability, software and firmware engineering to deliver powerful sensing solutions and integrate them into new platforms Act as a liaison between multi-functional teams and ensure tight inter-team coordination and communication Define the program plan/schedule and manage program execution Help deliver executive communication/presentations and drive the decision-making process Manage and support engineering development builds leading to mass production keeping track of engineering activities such as performance validation, yield optimization, and failure analysis coordination Work with suppliers and system teams to proactively identify and resolve issues Manage multiple suppliers and vendors in preparation for, and execution of, engineering development builds and new sensor development Support internal proof-of-concept hardware and software developments for new application investigations Effectively and consistently communicate overall program status to cross-functional partners and executive team Identify and resolve conflicts, inter-dependencies and program issues quickly and efficiently Work with the cross functional teams to identify and mitigate program risks Efficiently and effectively react to unexpected changes in the program due to outside influences and/or issues that arise Work with engineering management to define motion sensing roadmap Improve the system: look for patterns, offer best practices and implement change
