The Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) System is the Army’s primary investment in Soldier readiness. The system empowers and equips Soldiers to take charge of their health, fitness, and well-being in order to optimize individual performance.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the H2F program and is to oversee teams responsible for optimizing Soldier readiness and performance within the Army’s H2F System.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Oversee that the Army’s H2F program is being successfully implemented, operated, and sustained in accordance with provided directives.
- Responsible for performance of work, Task Order compliance, and quality control; will ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the contracting office and Army installations.
- Manage Analysts to provide analytical support at Center for Initial Military Training (CIMT), and Strength and Conditioning Coaches and Cognitive Performance Specialists to provide performance team support at various locations including but not limited to fitness centers/gyms, Brigade or administrative areas, ranges, and field training environments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the contracting office and Army installations.
- Supervise, direct, and mentor subordinate staff; communicate job expectations and enforce organizational policies, procedures, and core values; responsible for approving timecards and conducting performance reviews and disciplinary measures.
- Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, client, and other departments involved in the project.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Five years relevant experience managing, staffing, overseeing, and completing large-scale Government projects of geographically dispersed locations.
- Masters level degree from an accredited academic institution.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience, education and knowledge in health science and/or exercise science.
- Available Monday through Friday 0800-1700 local time.
