Benefit Package: Annual Salary: $36,000 - $40,000

Physical Requirements:Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the workspace. Attend meetings in various locations in the building and outside of the building. Communicate or exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person or electronically. Drive a car and lift 10+ pounds.
Job Summary: Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Education Manager will coordinate, manage, and teach some of the educational programs, with a particular focus on the ceramic’s studio. Full time position.

Nontraditional hours as needed.
Principal Responsibilities:
Education
· Manage education spaces.
o be sure the studios are clean after classes etc.
· Teach classes, workshops & camps.
· Create monthly data reports.
· Support programs, Lunch with the Arts, Birthday Parties, Starry Night Studio….
· Teach and develop weekly summer camps.
· Teach & develop days off school camps.
Outreach
· Maintain records of grant requirements to ensure compliance with budget and service numbers.
· Work with staff to develop field trip curriculum.
· Coordinate with teachers to schedule field trips & maintain relationships with schools and teachers.
· Maintain field trip calendar and communicate field trip schedule to staff.
· Develop supporting print and digital materials for field trips (example: exhibit booklet, video, teacher resources.)
· Oversee program evaluation to conform to grant requirements.
· Manage supplies for field trips.
· Help coordinate & manage Art Center events & Community Events
Ceramics Studio
· Manage some logistics, including studio maintenance, dipping, and kiln firing for classes & studio members.
· Create clay outreach opportunities to bring awareness to the studio.
Other
· Cover visitor engagement shifts, including some Saturdays.
· And other duties as assigned by the Program Director.
