You will serve as the PEO SHIPS Integrated Product Team (IPT) Portfolio Program Manager in the Platforms Division (Code 22), Machinery Programs and Platforms Department (Code 20), Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division ( NSWC PHILA DIV).Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector overseeing or coordinating acquisition efforts, technical design, integration, in-service engineering or life-cycle support of naval ship engineering projects or programs.
Examples of qualifying experience include: providing project management expertise to accomplish goals in support of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) for surface ships Platform Acquisition Engineering support; work efforts that impact safety, economy and efficiency of the system/equipment as well as overall operation and maintenance; providing expert information about Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems/equipment to coordinate and manage project efforts (e.g., planning, monitoring and oversight of scope, schedules, risk, financial and resources)
