We are recruiting a Program Manager I to join our team and help create enriching social and work experiences for adults with diverse abilities in our communities.
As a Program Manager, you will lead a team of Job Coaches and Employment Consultants, ensuring their effectiveness in supporting individuals with diverse abilities in finding inclusive employment. This role will lead their team in developing partnerships within the community to foster supported employment opportunities. Additionally, Ensure the program aligns with each participant's Employment Plan and coordinate various services such as discovery profiles, employment assessments, job development, and job coaching to support participants in achieving their employment goals. The Program Manager will also actively maintain relationships with community partners and funding sources through networking and delivering excellent program services. This role is also responsible for implementing safety plans and protocols and ensuring the program's compliance with state rules and regulations by providing crucial training and leadership to the team.
Requirements:- Supervise and coordinate the activities/services of the Work Futures Team, including Discovery, job development, job placement, job coaching, and other Work Futures activities.
- Manage Work Futures personnel, including hiring, supervising, evaluating individual performance, and ensuring all staff meet State training requirements for continuing education.
- Maintain complete and detailed records consistent with the Department of Human Services and State of Oregon agency standards, procedures, and requirements of third-party funding and accreditation sources.
- Collaborate with the Regional Director in evaluating the effectiveness of the Work Futures Program and making suggestions for improvement.
- Organize and manage all contracts and Authorization for Purchase (AFPs).
- Assist with developing public relations and communications strategies to support program goals and increase community awareness.
- Market the Work Futures program to funding and referral sources to ensure utilization and sustainability.
Experience Desired for This Position:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 8 years of related experience in a similar program.
- Two years of experience in a supervisory position.
- Experience must include at least two years of successful experience collaborating with individuals with diverse abilities in an employment or vocational program.
- Demonstrated ability in written and verbal communication.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record and have a reliable, insurable means of transportation.
- Must pass a DHS background check.
- Applicants must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug testing. (THC Excluded)
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
