Position Overview
The Pan American Development Foundation is looking for a committed and passionate Program Intern for its Democracy, Governance, and Human Rights team to assist with Labor Rights programming in Latin America. The intern will perform administrative tasks, assist in writing assignments, support event planning, and will provide program implementation support. The internship will be based in Washington D.C. and is expected to last 3 months starting in February 2024.

Essential duties and responsibilities
- Support general program management efforts, including participating in planning meetings, preparing and managing project documentation, drafting contracts and agreements, and preparing payments for program activities and outputs.
- Conduct research on trends and opportunities on Labor Rights in Latin America.
- Assist with meetings and events coordination.
- Monitor news on legislation, political developments, relevant events and publications related to Labor Rights in target countries.
- Translate project documents and communications content in English and Spanish.

Qualifications
Required
- Currently pursuing a university degree in International Studies, Economics, Public Policy, Latin American Studies, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
Desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, preferably Excel.
