Summary:
The 30K Advantage Program is an exciting evolution of the 30K product family to further improve the fuel efficiency, performance, and life of the product. This is a significant, multiple-engine development program targeting production EIS in 2025 with implications for industrial operations in almost every area.
The Program Industrial Lead 30K will report to the GTFA Program Industrial Associate Director in the 30K Production Chief Office, focusing on customer operations program management, strategic planning and business process development, and detailed analysis to support program needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with large cross-functional team including GTFA (Geared Turbo Fan) Production Director & Industrial team, Planning & control, Chief Engineer, Validation team, Program management, Program Chief Manufacturing Engineer, Program quality, Program finance, and Partners to proactively identify and mitigate program risks.
  • Supplier relationships: delivery and quality performance, cost and inventory management, Line of Balance (LOB), business reviews, underperforming supplier reviews, customer satisfaction.
  • Create, manage, and/or support system processes to enable successful transition from development to production (Production transition dashboard, Capacity Analysis, Supplier Readiness), including process improvement and reporting
  • Manage part transition from Development to production deliveries and ensure key process milestones are being met (ESA,FAI,MRL); collaboration with Strategic Sourcing; ownership of part delivery commitment and execution. Maintaining LOB and Updating Primavera Schedules
  • Lead regular program updates to MIPT and IPMT focused on production readiness; drive capacity assessments for GTFA changing parts, utilizing ECL's (OpX); collaboration with Configuration Management Team (EC Tracking, BOM Completion, Schedule); collaboration with Product Cost team to manage Part Cost and Excess and Obsolete Inventory
  • Travel up to 10% of the time

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 8 years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, program/project management, supply chain or closely related industrial environment or a Master's degree and minimum 5 years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, program/project management, supply chain or closely related industrial environment
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience working in a changing business environment navigating tight timelines
  • Demonstrated experience influencing and leading independently

Additional Information:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
