SalaryRole & Responsibility:
The ideal candidate will have experience performing the tasks outlined below.
- Shipping & Receiving (Loads and unloads trucks and checks incoming material against accompanying documents)
- Operates basic warehouse vehicles (i.e., hand truck, electric pallet jack, forklifts, etc.)
- Receive material, evaluate the condition of items received and determine if acceptable
- Pack all shipments safely and securely to ensure no damage to the product
- Inspect incoming and outgoing product/documentation to ensure all are present
- Manages inventory for accuracy and easy retrieval, identify and reconcile any inventory variances
Skills Required for Position:
- High school diploma, previous receiving & warehouse experience preferred
- Basic math and computer skills are required
- Ability to multi-task accurately in a fast paced environment
- Must have strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, bend to lift items from the floor and racks required (50-75 lbs).
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
