Job Summary
You will direct the program development of the assigned program area(s). This position is responsible for ensuring continuity of program and services while providing oversight and development to program staff.
The LifeSet Program Director position is an opportunity to lead a dynamic clinical case management program
serving young adults throughout Pierce County. This position oversees a team of 4 Case Managers who each
work with a limited caseload (8-10 young adults at a time) doing intensive and clinically focused case
management services, including treatment plans, safety planning, and functional analysis. This position leads
all supportive group and individual supervision sessions, conducts community outreach and referral
solicitation, and leads the team with a collaborative approach. The LifeSet program is an evidence-based case
management model that is being implemented in partnership with Youth Villages at the Y's Social Impact
Center. We are grounded in a strength-based approach that supports young people as they build life skills and
achieve their personal goals as they strive for self-sufficiency.
This position is at the Social Impact Center Y, the social services branch of YMCA of Greater Seattle (YGS). The mission of the Social Impact Center Y is to accelerate young people's ability to build safe, successful, and happy lives. Every year, we serve 5,000 children, youth, young adults, and families across King County with programs that aim to strengthen young people's ability to develop to their fullest potential through four strategies: reducing risk factors; navigating systems towards successful life transition; ensuring stability, safety and wellness in times of crisis; and building competencies and social capital. The Social Impact Center Y's programs include housing, behavioral health, foster care licensing, violence prevention, education, and employment. Many of the young people we serve have had involvement in the foster care, criminal justice system, and/or homelessness systems.

Hiring Range: $68,640 - 75,504/yr
Responsibilities
- Provides direct supervision and clinical case oversight to LifeSet Case Managers.
- Provides supervision to Case Managers based on treatment model, which includes a once weekly facilitation of a group supervision session as well as individual supervision sessions with each staff. This process includes direct case review, analyzing the treatment planning process, case management and case progress. Attends weekly group clinical consult with the team and follows up on recommendations.
- Provides support to Case Managers to help manage their duties and responsibilities. Provides case coverage as needed.
- Actively participates in program meetings with other supervisors/managers at the Y's Social Impact Center. Collaborates closely with Arlington Program Director.
- Participates in their own career and development meetings with leadership and/or Youth Villages Clinical Consultant.
- Provides and coordinates quality training to specialists by having the ability to train on the program treatment model and on other suggested trainings. Provides on-the-job training to newly hired specialists. Provides overall and ongoing staff development for team.
- Reviews and approves in a timely manner clinical and organizational documentation (i.e. mileage, timecards, case notes, etc.) completed by direct reports for the purpose of quality assurance and performance improvement.
- Assists in the hiring and onboarding process of new case managers, as needed.
- Must understand contract/grant terms and conditions to ensure program outcome requirements are met and services are rendered to young adults appropriately.
- Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with funding liaisons, other service providers, businesses and/or educational institutions as related to specialized services.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant program area or equivalent education/experience. Other applicable education, training, and experience, which provide the knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position will be considered.
- Two years or more of related experience, with proven experience in training others.
- One or more years of experience with staff and volunteer supervision, program development, budget management.
- Experience and knowledge with youth behavior management and child abuse prevention.
- Intermediate computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to visit sites and community organizations.
- Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical activity, sexual orientation, etc.). Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful.
