Summary of Job Duties:
The Program Coordinator will be responsible for coordination and logistical support of the Department of Family Medicine-Research Evaluation Division and PRI. The Program Coordinator will organize and participate in team meetings as needed and offer logistical support where needed. This position works closely with the division administrator and other teams members to accomplish project goals. The Program Coordinator is responsible for oversight of project travel, including policy and ensuring travel requests and reimbursements are entered and processed correctly. This position is responsible for department purchasing and coordinate receipt of all goods purchased.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree plus three (2) years of experience in an administrative role or
- High School diploma/GED plus six (6) years of experience in an administrative role required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Five (5) years of experience processing travel and purchasing.
- SAP experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic financial and accounting knowledge.
- Research publication citation management.
- Writing experience in APA style.
- SPSS software experience or RedCap survey experience.
Additional Information:
Responsibilities:
- Provide meeting coordination and logistical support for various research division projects.
- Contribute to the division's outreach efforts which promote various research programs which are recruiting partners.
- Execute general administrative duties such as expense reporting, desktop publishing, document editing, basic report preparation and distribution for various research projects.
- Work closely with Program Managers and other team members to accomplish grant and contract deliverables.
- Process purchasing and travel requisitions.
- Responsible for purchasing and travel including disseminating travel policy, helping traveling staff determine locations for overnights within state guidelines, and processing travel paperwork.
- Monitors purchasing and print jobs to ensure team is on track with budget projections.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
